I go to yoga with a naked face. I let the baggage fall open, the lines wave loose in the breeze. My body creaks and snaps like an old rocking chair. I do not fret about the appearance of my matted hair, my shaking fingertips, the growing petals of sweat underneath my heart. I fall apart. Then I come back together.
This post was inspired by #30daysofthanks.
Yes...amazing how the intensity and the sweat and the muscle fatigue all come together and in the end - you feel glorious and at a place of pure calm...
love this, Noel!

Very lovely. Also made me think about other unrestricted places--like public parks, libraries, the seashore, or when entering the pages of a book or looking up into the sky.
