If we live truly, we shall see truly. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Not everyone wants to travel the world, but most people can identify at least one place in the world they’d like to visit before they die. Where is that place for you, and what will you do to make sure you get there?

I cannot think of journeying right now.
I can only think of the 6-foot, four-inch hole in my heart. I look down at it from where I sit, cross-legged on the mountaintop. I see the burned edges on the sides, I see the tearing in the landscape. This is where I need to go, this is where I need to walk, this is where I need to journey to start the process of reconnaissance. To sift through what is left. There are things to be discarded and things to be kept. I must decide which, and also, to see what things can grow from the ashes.
This is the only place I can think of right now. This is the place I need to go to first.
