Happy Valentine’s Day, dear ones. Happy scent-of-lilies-and-roses-in-the-hallway. Happy-surprise-hot-pink-envelope-waiting-in-the-mailbox. Happy-dark-chocolate-melting-on-your-tongue-and-sending-your-tastebuds-into-a-riot-or-a-swoon.
Remember that feeling in grade school, when you got to pick out your very own Spiderman (or Strawberry Shortcake) Valentine cards? And you and your classmates decorated little mailboxes that hung on the front of your desk, waiting to be filled up with cards? I wish you that feeling today. Today is all about love. And one of my biggest loves, my great light and obsession, is being here and writing and hearing what you all have to say. 1. It is on my life list to see the state at St Pancras, you know. It's yet another excuse to get to London.
2. Just watched the CBS video and the reporter asked "What's our excuse?" re: not getting along despite major differences. And you know? I think it's because Bella and Tara can't talk. They just trust what they know.

Happy late V-day to you, dear one! Don't know what yours was like, but I hope you were showered with love by those near and far. Growing up my family didn't really acknowledge V-day, so it's like a whole new party-world for me. Thanks for this post! Loved the 10 greatest kisses. (AGREE about Lolita!)
