The past few days have been the perfect mix of Summer and Fall. Wildflowers, crickets and cicadas defiantly show their faces, even as the Halloween decorations twinkle at night and the trees show off their colors on golden afternoons.
We all dig in our heels and brace ourselves when it’s time for change: a change of seasons, a change of location, a change of view. But what are we worried about, when change can be as gentle and lovely as this?
That sky behind the Indian corn is such a perfectly clear blue... I love the optimism of this post. You already know how I feel about fall, and even though it doesn't feel fall-like where I am, I am savoring the picture you are painting...

Oh my goodness.
This amazing autumn, I swear. It's bringing out the best in so many people, you included. It really has been a gift of a transition.

mmmm....the full moon of autumn, with it's hues of gold, fire red, and halloween orange remind us that change can be beautiful.

if only change was as easy as letting the fall wash over us!
Then again, maybe it is!
