What's all this business about French Christmas?

  • My name—Noël—has been mispronounced, mislabeled, and mistaken since my parents bestowed it upon me one snowy March afternoon. It wasn't until a friend nicknamed me "French Christmas" that it came into focus. How much would our lives change if we could just see things differently?

I'm really glad you let yourself off the hook. I think the point of these prompts was to bring out the ways in which you trust yourself, and I'll be damned if that isn't just what you've shown right here and now. There's enough to worry about in the world, anyway. And brownies with perfect nut ratios? Those don't come around every day.

Dragonfly

Take all the time you need. Brownies are just what one needs when you are taking time to self reflect. We will be here waiting when the brownies are devoured and you return. (;

Wow--your description of that brownie is making my mouth water and I'm not even a brownie nut! Nice work.

I really liked reading this post, Noel. I often forget to focus on the moment and it's so important. Thanks for reminding me that sometimes, it's absolutely necessary.

Have a wonderful week!

Noel

First, sorry to ALL for the delayed response!

@Kim--Thanks for your comment. You're so right--these prompts ARE about trusting yourself, and trusting that maybe trying to answer them all in 30 days isn't the right thing for you personally.

@Dragonfly--Are you gonna make me some of your famous brownies? ;)

@Mary--Thank you! You have a wonderful week also!

I swear I thought I posted a comment on here! I love that you are just living in the moment. I'm trying to do that too. It's necessary I think and healthy. Good for you!
