This is simply beauteous.

I was telling (trying to) someone the other day how much I loved watermelon, the runny, the pulpy, succulent spongy red. It ended up sounding like a murder scene. I just couldn't express it. This quote helps.


Thanks Abby! Your description was PERFECT and beautiful. That's exactly what I was tasting when Christine said this 45 minutes into our steamy hot, 100-degree yoga class.

@Dragonfly and @lgesin, glad you enjoyed it! It really was a perfect yoga moment--both intellectually (in the metaphor of a heart being like a watermelon) and physically (imagining icy cold, sweet, dripping watermelon during our sweat hot standing series).
