What I love about writing is how it allows me to express ideas and feelings to myself as well as to others--that it lets me clarify or explore inchoate thoughts and emotions that I haven't been able to articulate even to myself before. And that's what I love about reading other people's writing, too--when they provide you with that moment of recognition when you resonate with them and their ideas.

Writing for me is what frees the soul. The sharing, the open heart, the freedom to express one's self which appears to lead to an opening of one's self. But what I love the most is the writer who can express what I can't through writing. Like when I have that light bulb moment because of what an artist has written. I think this person's gets it and I feel connect and not so alone. Maybe that is why reading for me is such a comfort. mmmm....I like this idea.
